Let us help you solve your cleaning problems
Let’s face it; it’s tough to get excited about the need to clean your carpets. At Spot Out, we understand how you feel. So, we try our best to make this process as seamless for you as we can. It’s our desire to get in and do the job efficiently with as minimal “downtime” to you and your lifestyle as possible.
Let’s share some answers to the most commonly asked questions we receive almost every day.

Frequently Asked Questions:
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE MY CARPET TO DRY?
Your carpet will be damp to the touch for 4 - 8 hours after the job is complete. Industry standards state that your carpet may be damp for up to 24 hours. Dry times will vary depending on the type of carpet you have (nylon, wool, polyester) and the air movement in your home. Outside temperature and humidity levels also play a role in dry times. Our technicians will place high powered air movers on your carpet to help aid in the drying process. You can also help with the drying process by turning on ceiling fans and air conditioning units.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE MY CARPET OR RUGS CLEANED?
Imagine, you have a newborn baby, or a roaming toddler with a sippy cup full of red Kool-Aid, or you’re an allergy sufferer, perhaps you’re the proud owner of a new puppy or kitten, or maybe you’ve just given up trying to get your kids (or husband) to take their shoes off at the door. You can see that each situation is unique. Each one of you could require a different answer to this question; however, most carpet manufacturers recommend a professional cleaning every 12 to 18 months. If you have children or pets in your home, you may consider having your high traffic areas cleaned every 6-12 months. It is better to clean your carpet before it starts to look dirty because that is when the fiber starts to wear.
AREN’T ALL CARPET CLEANING COMPANIES PRETTY MUCH THE SAME?
No. As with any industry, carpet cleaners run the gamut from Bubba working out of the back of his car, to the low-price, high-volume franchises. There are five important values which distinguish a real carpet care professional from run-of-the-mill carpet cleaners: Reputation, Experience, Education, Systems, and Guarantee. In addition to these values, Spot Out has a 13-step premium cleaning process for maximum soil and spot removal, without over wetting your carpet or leaving a sticky residue behind which returns your carpet, as close as possible, to factory condition.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT SPOT OUT THAT MAKE THE COMPANY SO UNIQUE?
Let’s just try and pretend for a moment that the finest equipment, safest products and certified technicians don’t even matter. When was the last time a tradesman of any kind was at your home? Did they treat it with care and concern? Or did they leave you with a bigger mess to clean up when it was all said and done? How about hidden surprises in their final bill? What about being on time? How comfortable where you with their technicians being inside your home? These are all feelings that every single person at SpotOut understands intimately. We want you to know that we share your concerns about your family and home with you. We promise to treat you, your home, your family (and pets), and privacy with the utmost of courtesy and care. Our technicians are cleanly uniformed and drive company lettered service trucks. We understand that getting ready to have your carpet and furniture cleaned is a big job, especially for you. We promise to call when we are on our way or if we are running a few minutes behind schedule - all because we respect you, your valuable time, and your home.
The bottom line - what makes Spot Out so unique -is the quality of the whole experience, from the moment we meet until we say “goodbye and thank you.” We care just as much about your experience as you do. We want so much more than simply happy customers; we want cheerleaders.
Experience the quality of Spot Out’s services, and you’ll see for yourself why the difference between us and all our competitors is obvious
WHICH CLEANING METHOD IS BEST?
Our company has the equipment and expertise to perform all the different methods available for carpet cleaning. We choose the method that we will use in your home or office based on the needs of the clients as well as the type of fiber or fabric we are cleaning. There is no method that is a “fix all - cure all”. All methods have pros and cons and specific purposes. Be very careful choosing a company that says they have the best or most exclusive method.
DOES FABRIC AND FIBER PROTECTION WORK?
Yes! We offer the very best protection on the market called Fiber ProTector that is best for natural fibers and area rugs. We are the only authorized applicator in the Inland Empire and Coachella Valley. Fiber Protection is like an insurance policy so that it gives you time to clean up the spill before it becomes a permanent stain. We also offer Spot Out Stain Guard protector that is better suited for synthetic carpet and fibers. Proper maintenance including vacuuming and regular cleaning are still needed to maintain the life of your carpet and upholstery.
WHAT ARE THOSE UGLY BLACK LINES ALONG THE BASEBOARDS AND UNDER DOORWAYS?
If you have light colored carpet, you may have experienced these dark lines that appear on the carpet. This soiling is called filtration soiling because it comes from air passing through the carpet as it is attempting to get through the crack between the carpet and the baseboard or under a closed door. As the air passes through the edge of the carpet pile, this microscopic soiling is deposited there (hence the term filtration soiling). This occurs over a significant period of time and is not noticed until a buildup has occurred. This type of soiling is difficult to remove because the soil particles are so fine that they penetrate deep into the carpet pile, sometimes into the backing of the carpet. Can it be removed? Sometimes. With special products, time and effort, reasonable results can sometimes be achieved. To help prevent filtration soiling, vacuum and wipe the edges of the carpeting on a regular basis. Be careful around the tack-strip on the edge of the carpeting, it could nick your fingers!
IS YOUR COMPANY LICENSED & INSURED?
Yes. We have a California State Contractors License. We carry 2 million dollars in liability insurance, worker’s compensation, and commercial liability on all our vehicles. All our technicians are employees and not subcontractors. They must undergo background checks as well as drug testing to be employed by our company.
DO YOU HAVE A GUARANTEE?
We offer a 100% money back guarantee. If for any reason you are unhappy with the work we performed for you, we will rush back out at no charge and re-clean that area for you. If you are still unhappy, then we will refund your money for that area. If for some reason a spot resurfaces such as wine, blood, or pet urine, we will retreat that spot at no charge for up to 30 days after the job was completed. We pride ourselves on our customer service.
